I am so excited for you! I know that Heavenly Father must have amazing things in store for you and your family. I truly believe that! The NICU experience is just that, and experience. They are an amazing team! Just like your family! Being frustrated or worried is part of the experience. Honestly, the best way through it is to stay close to your Father in Heaven. I promise that this can be one of the most spiritual experiences you have. I know that it sounds weird, but you will absolutely have the ability to witness small miracles (three of them ;), you will be amazed at the love that you feel, and test your endurance. My only advice is to pray often, remember you are only one person and that Ellis needs his mother right now too. The balancing act is not easy, but many women have done it, and you have an amazing support group. There will be a few setbacks (that is standard in the NICU, and seeing as how they have Krueger in them... they have to throw a few surprises your way. Be patient. Know that there are so many prayers for you, that you will know and feel it if you stop and get grounded.
I am so amazed. I know that you must be one heck of a mom to get these blessed spirits in your care. I love you. Give yourself a pat on the back. So far it hasn't been easy. Think... one day you will be more worried about dating and sharing the car... Kind of a strange thought. Time travels quickly. Journal often. You will be glad you did later.
Alright... my heart was full and I had to share a lot... I always have something to say lol! Love and prayers... hugs and kisses.. T
Way to go! You did an amazing job Ann-Marie! Truly. You should be so impressed with yourself... I am! Enjoy your sweet baby girls and rest up... you will need it!
