First another thank you to all of you for your love and support, we are SO appreciative. Thank you for the nice comments you make, I read them to Ann-Marie and they cheer us up. These comments and your prayers are wonderful. Please don't feel any pressure or obligation to call or visit. With Ann-Marie on complete bed rest (not even allowed out of bed to go to the bathroom-the nurses have their ways to still accomodate for this while she's on the bed) we both keep busy just trying to get Ann-Marie comfortable, fed, etc. and we're really not able to take many phone calls or visits.
Until noon Ann-Marie was on 3 grams per hour of "mag" which is A LOT. At noon the doctor reduced it to 2, and after dinner reduced it to 1.5. At 3 grams per hour she was very hot and her muscles were so relaxed throughout her body that she could hardly move or talk. By tonight at 1.5 grams per hour she was doing better. (The "mag" makes Ann-Marie so hot that we keep the room very cold and I have to keep a blanket around me.)
Contractions are still irregular, although they are more frequent now. They came about every 4 to 6 minutes. However, they have not been really painful. When they are painful, then the doctors will check her cervix again, and if it's reached a five the doctors will likely begin the C-section. As for now they see no need to check the cervix. When Ann-Marie is sleeping the contractions space out a little more, about once every 8 to 10 minutes.
We've really had some spiritual experiences through all this. The biggest thing made clear to us is these babies will come in the Lord's timing. We've done our best and now we turn to Him for guidance and help.
