Yesterday Gracie and Ruthie got off the CPAP (Annie was already off of it). We're so thankful! It means their lungs are getting stronger and stronger. All three are also off of the lights to treat the jaundice, so they are very happy to be able to be swaddled now.
Anthony and Ann-Marie have been loving their skin to skin time each day with each of their daughters. And of course Annie, Gracie, and Ruthie love it too!
Ellis gets back from Grandma and Grandpa Botts' house today. Ann-Marie and Anthony are grateful they were able to spend some time with him these past several days and are now excited to spend some time with Ellis too. It will add a whole new element to juggle, but thankfully the babies keep progressing well. It's just a matter of time so their little bodies develop more. So far there are no infections, which is a wonderful blessing.
Thank you again, each of you, for your support and prayers.
Yay for progress!
ReplyDeleteWonderful news!
ReplyDeleteFantastico! What great news.
ReplyDeleteSkin to skin is the best... seriously precious moments. It's one of the only memories I have of Baby B before she got shipped off to surgery. I still treasure that day of snuggling I had with her.
